Soybean hulls are a by-product of the the soybean oil extraction industry. Utilizing soybean hulls for the right purpose can be effective in reducing the cost of processing animal feed, and they are an excellent food for dairy cows. This is because they have a low lignin content, and the cellulose is very easily digested in the rumen, with fermentation occurring rapidly.

– In addition, soybean hulls can also be used as a spent mushroom substrate.
